Previewing Files, Folders, and Emails

After you’ve found your files, you can then preview them inside Logicle Secretary. Logicle Secretary lets you preview many common document types like Microsoft Office Documents, emails, and web pages right within the program itself. This functionality comes in handy when you have to scan through the search results to determine which documents are relevant. This is because you don’t have to open each document individually using its associated application.

To preview a document, just click on it in the search results and it will be displayed in InView.

Something different happens when you click on a folder in the search results compared to when you click on a file or an email. Previews of files and emails are displayed in InView, but for folders, the natural place to display previews is Browse My Computer instead. Browse My Computer is a file system browser (like Windows Explorer).
